Owen & Camden... what are they doing now?

Can you believe that Camden is 8 months old! She is a drooling queen with a little tip of teeth poking through on the bottom. She moves quickly from one side of the room to another, grabbing anything in her path. Her form of movement these days, army style with one arm... very talented little girl. She is so ready to crawl, getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth. She rocks so fast at times, you wonder if she is going to catapult herself across the room. The rocking usually ends up in a face plant. Camden is without a binkie, we ditched it about 2 months ago for no real reason. She has found her lovey, a pink blankie that she snuggles with every night. If we decide to sneak her blankie out of bed after she falls asleep, she will wake up in the middle of night crying and looking for her lovey. She is so full of energy and into everything. She is happy and always smiling, rarely cries unless she is tired or hungry and if we don't move fast enough! She absolutely demands attention and recently has become a little sassy and impatient... where would she get this attitude from? She waves bye-bye and is trying so hard to clap. She had her first try of baby yogurt this week, first sampling of something other than baby food.

Owen is now 26 months! He is a little man with a big voice. He says and does the funniest things. He is very protective of Camden and loves her so much. He hugs and kisses her, burps her and tries his best to pick her up. His favorite past time, steamrolling Cammie. She lays on the floor so excited that her brother is playing with her and then it happens... Owen is rolling over top of her stomach. If he isn't rolling over her, he is attempting to sit on her and "play horsey" or he is tickling her which is more like him poking her in the stomach or leg... she laughs (usually). Owen has a very strong personality and has become demanding, he really does not want Cammie to receive more attention from anyone (especially those he is closest too). He now prefers to read us books, making us sit on the floor as he sits comfortably in the rocking chair. He bosses the dogs around and works very hard to make them listen... it's funny to watch.

The fun continues... Camden will be crawling soon!
