"Surprise Aunt Kimmie" is exactly what Owen said when Kim pulled in the driveway after school on Friday! I bravely packed the loaded the kids in the car and made the 7 1/2 hour trip to Pittsburgh to surprise Kim for a long weekend. She was totally surprised!
We arrived Friday afternoon and left Monday morning. It was a perfect weekend... tons of time to play, eat, and drink wine. Me & Kim even managed to squeeze in a 4 mile run on Saturday and a 2 1/2 mile run on Sunday. We took the kids to the Children's Museum in Pittsburgh, they loved every minute of it - well, until Owen & Cammie decided it was time to meltdown due to lack of naps and hungry for snacks.
