THANKS-GIVING

I have grown to love this holiday.. not because of the food, actually I don't even really enjoy leftovers (unless it's pies)!  We have such an appreciation for all that God has provided... we are forever thankful and in the spirit of giving.  We have learned that the smallest things matter and are usually the most important. 

We have had such a lovely week.  Erik has been home since Wednesday and we have spent every moment as family.  Aunt Jaime, Uncle Greg, & baby Austin along with Aunt Betsy & Uncle Marc came to visit.  We spend a lot of time at Bubba & Grandpa's; relaxing riding bikes, and eating :)  We got to spend a morning at Discover Kids in Huntersville with cousins Austin, Conor, & Aschton.  Followed by lunch with daddy and plenty of time at Bubba's.  We took a nature walk along Lake Wylie at McDowell Park and then spent time having our family fall pictures taken at Independence Park in Uptown.  All of this packed in before Saturday, which leaves us two days at home with no plans!
