Owen's Fall = Cast

It was Saturday afternoon at Bubba's park. Owen hung from the monkey bars, as kids do, and then lost his grip. Dropping down into the mulch, landing on his backside and breaking his fall with his hands behind him. OUCH!

Monday morning, he's still in a little pain and the swelling has increased. One trip to his pediatrician and an X-ray later, he has a fracture and small break in his left arm.

Next stop, Orthocarolina Urgent Care for a cast. The sweet nurse says " here are the three favorite colors; pink, green, and purple and lots of boys really like the purple.". I held my breath wanting Owen to make this decision and he says "GREEN, I like the green a lot". Thank the Lord!

He feels much better, life continues for this almost six year old!
