Camden is 10 months already! She continues to grow at lightening speed. She cruising and cruising fast... walking behind toys, even manages to push along the hardwood floors. She can stand balanced for several seconds. Sweet little Cammie, when she hears the word "no", she turns towards you with a very cute smile and waves. GREAT.. what does that mean for us? Since discovering the stairs, she has now learned how to climb the stairs. When she sees you coming for her, she gets excited and tries to climb faster. She drinks from a sippy cup, it's the master plan to ditch the bottle by her first birthday. The day we do not have to wash bottles will be a very exciting day! Camden's gums are swollen and teeth are on going to explode through her top gums any day now... just waiting and waiting. She is extremely active. She is not a fan of being strapped in the car seat, she pulls at the straps and makes a lot of noise. It sounds like something Owen has taught her. Cammie LOVES the bath and water. When you put her down in any room upstairs, she makes a beeline for her bathtub. Pulls herself up and makes the cutest screams in excitement, just waiting for you to come fill up the tub.
Owen... this little man can talk! He will talk all day long and he will keep you straight. He has a plan and you will follow his plan. Owen is very independent, vacuums, attempts to pour his own milk, he must be the one to turn the lid on his milk cup, washes his own hands and face (which is very cute to watch), wipes up spills on the counter, and uses a napkin when he eats. The napkin makes you think you has excellent table manors... don't be fooled, we still throw spoons and when he is done with his milk, it drops straight to the floor as he stares you straight in the eyes. His current obsession is a fire truck (see picture). He actually chases Cammie around the house with the fire truck... she loves it! We are slowing working on potty training. Owen talks about it more than he actually wants to do it! The day we do not have to change his diapers will be even more exciting than the day we don't have to wash bottles!
