Camden is growing!

Our little Camden is 15 months. Where did the time go? She has spouted into a toddler. She has grown 3 inches in the past three months and gained 1 pound. She is running and climbing. Not just climbing on the couch or chair... she pushes chairs next to stools to climb on her highchair and/or counters. She is very creative in finding ways to reach items that are "out of reach". She opens every cabinet, drawer, and door. Yep, it looks like the door obsession is back (Owen loved doors, now Camden loves doors). She can officially open all doors (including the front door). She mimics everything, literally everything. She loves to tell you "no" and point her finger at you. She smiles when in trouble and has actually experienced timeout at the early age of 14 months (she was not a fan).

Camden's vocabulary is growing daily. She loves to draw and do puzzles. She is a daddy's girl, there is no question and she absolutely loves her evening walks with daddy. We just don't remember Owen being this active at 15 months. Although the second child, we are still learning!

This is a post about Camden but it wouldn't be complete without mentioning her big brother. Owen is 2yrs 9 months. He is definitely a talker and extremely loving. We have managed to transition Owen into a big boy bed and weeks later out of a diaper. Now, it's off to preschool in September. This two day a week preschool will be good for all of us. Owen will get to experience the classroom, he will learn new activities, and will make new friends. Mommy will have a break for a few hours and at the same time will be able to enjoy alone time with Cammie. Owen is setting great (and some not so great) examples for Camden to follow. He tries very hard to love his little sister (he hugs, kisses, shares, reads, plays, teaches, tickles, and tackles Cammie), but there are moments when she is in his way, taking his milk and snacks and stealing his blankie (which is a HUGE no no). Most recently (like at this moment), he is asking me for money.
