What a weekend!

Owen and Camden got to spend the day with their twin cousins, Conor & Aschton. The twins are 6 months, with Cammie right behind them. They are so fun to watch… what a handful of a day! Owen runs his own show but was very helpful in “managing” the babies. Of course mommy and Aunt Kathy too. Erik spent the day helping prepare Suzanne & Steve’s backyard for their wedding at the end of the month!

On Sunday, we took Owen and Camden to the pumpkin patch. Owen pulled a little wagon (one that Erik insist was the worst pick), but he managed to pull the little red wagon with tiny wheels as we walked up and down rows of pumpkins. Owen had little interest in the tiny pumpkins (until the end)… he worked very hard to lift his pumpkins in the wagon (and out of the wagon). He pulled his pumpkins almost the entire time. Erik pulled Owen and the pumpkins a few times, as Owen clearly needed a rest! We went on a hayride and then Owen talked to the “sheeeppp” and “goooats”. He ended up with one pumpkin to carve and two baby pumpkins. He is certain that a pumpkin is called an apple… we are working on this!

Our weekend ended with Owen tossing a bottle of white nail polish over the banister, crashing and breaking on the hardwood floors in the foyer. After panicking, wiping, and letting is sit for over 5 hours…. Non-acetone nail polish remover took the polish up without damaging the floors. Should you find yourself in a similar predicament… use non-acetone nail polish remover at your own risk!
